Happy People Are Generous

This Passuk is much needed in this Parsha, which is loaded with the Mitzva of caring for others. When you feel good, then you give Tzedaka with Simcha וְ ˃ֶניֵעְב הֶשְׁקִי אֹל ( it shall not seem difficult to you). חַתְּפִתּ ַחֹתָפ ח וט a double Lashon (expression) you open your hand wide and give with your whole heart with lots of Simcha. Indeed, these Pesukim are constantly mentioning being B'simcha because the Torah wants us to be “giving” people, and happy people are generous!
