Special emphasis is placed on the children – particularly during Lag B’Omer, with its Parade that loudly proclaims: Yachad kal yaldei yisrael, “All Jewish children stand united!”Moreover, the Parade is organized in such a way that adults (parents and grandparents) also join the children; in the spirit of the verse, veheishiv lev avos al banim, “He will restore the hearts of fathers to sons,” [which can also be understood: He will restore the hearts of the fathers via the sons…] (Parshas Behar 5749; Hisvaaduyos p. 160)
