Sichah 1 Part 3

The Rebbe's Pharmacy | June 27, 2025

And [Rebbe Nachman] said that what is written after [this verse] — “Hashem does whatever He wants in the Heavens and on Earth, etc.” – is something else entirely that is distant from the praise of “I knew,” because the intention [of Dovid HaMelech] in the words, “For I knew,” is impossible to speak about. It is very, very lofty – higher than the highest – something that the mouth can’t express, except [by saying] specifically “I knew.” And like it is written in the Zohar HaKadosh (Bereishis 103:): נודע בשערים בעלה ‘”(Mishlei 31:23)’ – each person [grasps the Infinite Light of Hashem] according to what he “measures) “from the same root as (שערים in his heart,” as it is explained elsewhere (Likutei Mohoran I, 63 and 72).
