Through the Torah

According to what has been stated above, the explanation is that through the study of Torah in a manner of ‘Engraved letters’ meaning that the one studying the Torah becomes one entity with the Torah that he is studying. And the Torah is ‘Chochmossoi Shel Hakodosh Boruch Hu’ the wisdom of Hashem, and as we say in Posach Eliyohu “Ant Hu Chakim” You Hashem are Chochmah – you are Wisdom. Thus, through studying Torah, one becomes one with Hashem.

Furthermore: Not only does uniting with the Torah create a bond between the B’nei Yisroel and Hakodosh Boruch Hu. But even more than that...

Elsewhere in Chassidus: The following is an excerpt from a Maamor 19 Ellul 5734 as can be found in Maamorim Melukotim: That which Yisroel the Torah and Hakodosh Boruch Hu are all one this refers to a level which is higher than the ‘Hiskashrus’ of Yisroel the Torah and Hakodosh Boruch from the perspective of the essence of Torah from beyond the Seder Hishtalshelus.

This could be understood with the preface of the inference with that which the Zohar says: There are three connections which are connected with each other (Referring to the connection between Yisroel and Torah and the connection between Torah and Hashem) for seemingly there are only two connections because Yisroel connects with the Torah and the Torah with Hashem. One of the explanations is that the third connection is the direct connection of Yisroel with Hakodosh Boruch Hu bypassing the Torah. Because the roots of Yisroel is in Hashem’s very Atzmus which is higher than the roots of Torah. And the order of these three connections is akin to a ring which has no start or no finish. At first Yisroel connect with the Torah and the Torah is connected to Hakodosh Boruch Hu, then the connection between Hakodosh Boruch Hu and Yisroel is made. This

the statement from the Zohar that says: “There are three connections connecting one with the other; Yisroel with Torah and Torah with Hakodosh Boruch Hu.

means to say, that after Yisroel connect to the Torah and then through the Torah to Hakodosh Boruch Hu. Then the roots of Yisroel is revealed which is higher than the roots of Torah, the connection between Yisroel and Hakodosh Boruch Hu. After this connection is made (Of Yisroel with Hakodosh Boruch Hu) it then becomes the primary connection of Yisroel with Hakodosh Boruch Hu. And after the root of Yisroel is revealed in Hashem’s very Atzmus Blessed be He, they bring this connection in to the Torah. As Dovid Hamelech used to connect the above Torah with Hakodosh Boruch Hu. That besides the fact that the Torah is the wisdom of Hakodosh Boruch Hu, because the wisdom is incomparable to Hashem’s very Atzmus, and Yisroel are able to draw Atzmus of the Ohr Ein Sof into it. So since also in the root of Torah and Yisroel as they are in Atzmus the root of Yisroel is higher than the roots of Torah. Therefore, through Yisroel engaging in Torah they are being ‘Mamshich’ Atzmus Mamosh into Torah.

Accordingly, it can be said, that that which Yisroel the Torah and Hakodosh Boruch Hu are all one (Not just that they are connecting one with the other, but that they are actually one entity) is (Primarily) with Yisroel. Because regarding Torah since the Torah is for Yisroel (“Speak to the B’nei Yisroel”, or “Instruct the B’nei Yisroel”) this means that it is like a medium like something whose existence is to connect with Hakodosh Boruch Hu. Whereas Yisroel are rooted in Hashem’s very Atzmus. And through that which Yisroel draw down Hashem’s very Atzmus into Torah the Torah also becomes united with Atzmus. Yisroel and the Torah and Hakodosh Boruch Hu all one Mamosh.

[Incidentally The Torah has a potential to connect with Atzmus as our sages (Shabbos 105a) say that the letters of “Anochi” the first word of the Aseres Hadibros, are the first letters of the words “Anoh Nafshi Kesovis Yehovis” — “I, My soul (i.e. Myself) have given it in writing“ Chassidus (Likkutei Torah, Parshas Shelach, p 96) explains that this can be interpreted that Hashem placed His soul — His Essence — into the Torah (i.e. “I have given My soul in writing”).]
