Musical Accompaniment to the Mikvah:The custom of Rav Mordechai of Lechovitch zy”a was that when he walked to the mikvah on erev Shabbos of Parshas Beha’aloscha, he was accompanied by musicians playing their instruments. The reason behind this was that it says in this Parshah that “Hashem has spoken good about Yisroel.” Rav Mordechai would say, “On such a great Shabbos for Klal Yisroel, it is appropriate to enter Shabbos with music!”
