Practical Judaism Tzedakah for the Holy Land

Giving Tzedakah to Jews in the Holy Land is very special. G-d’s eyes are constantly on the Land of Israel. The physical Land of Israel has a direct, uninhibited connection to the Land of Israel Above. “Planting” Tzedakah in the Land of Israel is immediately “absorbed” above. The Land of Israel also emphasizes the unity of all the Jewish People, since every Jew has a portion of the Land of Israel. There is physical Tzedakah – providing every Jew with their physical needs, and spiritual Tzedakah – spreading Torah, Judaism and Chassidus. Both types of Tzedakah bring unity among the Jewish People.
