PARSHAS EMOR 5785

רֶמאֹיַּו םֶהֵלֲא ָתְּרַמָאְו ןֹרֲהַא יֵðְבּ םיִðֲהֹכַּה לֶא רֹמֱא הֶשׁמ לֶא 'ה
שֶׁפֶðְל :ויָמַּעְבּ אָמַּטִּי אֹל ]פכ"א פ"א [

Hashem said to Moshe: Speak to the Kohanim, the sons of Aharon, and say to them: None shall defile himself for any [dead] person among his kin: [21:1]

פרק א

“Speak unto the Kohanim.” This text is related (to Tehillim. 12:7), “The sayings of Hashem are pure sayings....” Everything which Hakodosh Boruch Hu, warned Klall Yisroel is for the sake of their holiness and their purity. Hence, “The sayings of Hashem are pure sayings.”

Since Klall Yisroel are so Heilig and pure, therefore they must separate themselves from every Tumah (impurity) and negativity a lot more than other nations. The son of a king that will eat a course food will immediately become sick, but a peasant is not so sensitive immediately. Since Yidden are eidel (delicate) and heilege, it immediately damages them the slightest Tumah (impurity). Hence it is obligatory to strictly warn them.

Divrei Sharei Chaim – Di Torah Kvall

This is a symbol that a Yid should not indulge in materialism and temptations.

פש לא יטמא בעמיוðל :]כ"א א'[
A language of גחלים עוממות. Meaning that it should not become cold by him the love for Hashem, because of Ritzonos (will - inclinations) of Olom Hazeh (this world). Since Nefesh is a language of willingness.

Sefer Beis Aharon

ִי ה' ðֲא לֵאָרְשִׂי יֵðְבּ Íוֹתְבּ יִתְּשַׁדְּקִðְו יִשְׁדָק םֵשׁ תֶא וּלְלַּחְת אֹלְו :םֶכְשִׁדַּקְמ]כ"ב ל"ב [
You shall not profane My holy name, that I may be sanctified amidst Klall Yisroel, I Hashem who sanctify you. [22:32]

Afterwards it immediately says the Parsha of Moadim, that Yidden sanctify.

אשר תקראו אותם מקראי קודש: ]כ"ג ב'[
Since through that Yidden are Heilege Hashem Yisborach gave them the power of Kedusha. Hence, they can be Mekadesh (make holy) the times, and they can call out a Kedusha on the day that Beis Din is Mekadesh as Yom Tov.
