May it be Hashem’s Will that by learning the halachos of acquisitions, we merit the immediate actualization and fulfillment of the promise, “On that day, Hashem shall continue... to acquire the remainder of His nation” and the fulfillment of “(until Your people will pass through, Hashem) until this people You have acquired will pass through.” Hashem will acquire “His nation” completely.
This will usher in the accumulation of the outstanding “possessions” that “Hashem acquired in His world,” culminating with the acquisition of “one possession is the Temple,” the Third Temple. May it be built speedily in our days!

- Also note from the following segment in Mishneh Torah (the following halachah, cited above in Section 1) “Since this is so, if a person on his deathbed says: ‘...should be given to the poor’... the poor acquire these objects.” Simply, this indicates that since the man on his deathbed has an obligation to fulfill his vow, “the poor acquire these objects” (and not just that the orphans have an obligation to give the poor these objects). Also see the commentaries on Mishneh Torah there; this is not the place for an extended discussion of this topic.
