I was pleased to receive your letter of Oct. 23, in which you write about the recent visit of Mrs. Stern . . , and that you enjoyed her talk, and also participated in Tzedoko.
I trust the inspiration will continue to stimulate you to ever greater advancement and accomplishment in matters of Yiddishkeit. As you know, one of the basic Mitzvoth, to "love your fellow-Jew as yourself", includes helping other Jews to bring them closer to Torah and Mitzvoth. This also has a bearing on the conclusion of your letter about your participation in financial aid to our brethren in the Holy Land. For, in addition to this, every Jew, wherever he may be, by fulfilling G-d's Mitzvoth brings additional Divine blessings to all our Jewish people everywhere.
May G-d grant that you should go from strength to strength in all above, with joy and inspiration.
