The following is an anecdote told to us by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Chaim Shetzigal, shlita, one of the greatest lecturers of the lessons of the apt book Zera Shimshon, and author of Doleh Umashke:
With Hashem's help, I have had the privilege for a long time to give public lessons from the auspicious book of salvation Zera Shimshon. I am already accustomed to hearing salvation stories from those who study it, and, certainly, every time I hear one of these stories that caused a tremendous transformation in a Jew, it moves me very much and gives me more strength to continue spreading the Torah of Rabbeinu, the author of the Zera Shimshon.
The same can be said of the following story told to me by one of the participants in the special study of Zera Shimshon's book on the night of Purim this year. Such study has already become a tradition and is carried out every year at the initiative of the World Organization for the Dissemination of the Torah of the Zera Shimshon, which established a special kolel on the night of Purim to study the Zera Shimshon at the Bet Midrash of Meshovev Netivot. The atmosphere was very uplifting; it was evident that everyone wanted to take advantage of the great moment of Divine grace on the night of Purim. More than 100 students participated in the elevated midnight learning.
This moment will be forever engraved in my heart, which gave me great composure and strength to continue with my holy activities. It was when one of the participants approached me, from whose face it was evident that he was excited and that he had a story to tell.
At first, so as not to disturb the other students, he began by speaking in a low voice, almost like a whisper in the ear; but, because he became emotional by telling the story, he ended in a loud and joyful voice exclaiming, "Blessed is He who performed a miracle for me in this place!" And this is what he told me:
Last year, I had three of my children at home, who had not yet found their suitable partner, and they had already been in this condition for many years. When I heard about the special Purim night study of the book Zera Shimshon, I told myself that I should participate. I decided to dedicate the Purim night study to the salvation of my children's situation. In fact, I participated in the special study, and the tefillah that followed, for the sake of my children's search for a spouse. Shortly after Purim, proposals began to arrive at a pace I was not used to, and, thanks to Hashem, today, after a year has passed, I am a man with good news, as I can announce that my three sons got engaged during the year, two of whom have already married. I see in this a great sign of salvation through the merit of the Zera Shimshon.
And I continue this year to praise and thank Hashem for His many mercies and to continue to strive for the salvation of others who need it, for I brought with me the names of my neighbors who are also waiting for salvation and for them I will pray, for the sake of Zera Shimshon, that they too may see the great salvation Besiata Dishmaiah.
Blessed are we who have had the privilege of experiencing salvation. And it is a great mitzvah to publish this anecdote so that many will know the great light of salvation that comes through the merit of the Zera Shimshon and become involved in his teachings. May they receive the blessing of Rabbeinu, the Divine Mekubal, author of the Zera Shimshon, and as advised by several of the greatest Rabbis of the generation.
