After six long days of labor that spanned the entire universe, HaShem finally took the day off. “It seems that G-d finished everything He needed to do,” reported one angel.
In His yet-to-be-published book (a likely all-time best-seller), HaShem explains that this weekly day off, known as “Sabbath” or “Shabbos,” is something He wants the future Nation of Israel to celebrate every single week.
