5737-1976, after a moving encounter with the Rebbe, the left-wing Israeli writer Nathan Yellin-Mor sent the Rebbe a copy of his book about the Lehi Zionist paramilitary organization and the underground activities for which he was imprisoned in the 1940s. In response, the Rebbe encouraged him to continue to be active: “If at that time you were a person of action who spared no effort ... does it make sense to now be satisfied with writing alone? ... Although we don’t share the same ideology 100 percent, I hope that our view is identical when it comes to the underlying point: The Holy Land of Israel is the everlasting inheritance of the Holy People of Israel.”
