... At your request, I will remember you in prayer when visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory. It would be advisable for you to make a channel of affiliation (hiskashrus) with my father-in-law of saintly memory, so that his prayers in your behalf would materialize, for such a channel would serve also a "receptacle" for bringing down and holding the Divine blessings. I have in mind his 'takono' (institution) of the three practices daily (bli neder, of course): a portion of Chumash with Rashi, Tillim as it is divided into the days of the month, and Tanya as it is divided into the days of the year (according to the More-Shiur) ...
