Let’s Get Practical
It’s My World
In our parshah we learn that the Jewish father tells his child “Hashem did all this for me when He took me out of Mitzrayim”. Although Hashem does many all-encompassing kindnesses, we’re expected to react as if Hashem did it just for us; we’re that important.
With great importance comes great responsibility, and every tiny act we do is tremendously valuable. This week, once every day I will bli neder take a look at the sun or the clouds or the trees and remind myself that םָלֹעוָה ‡ָר¿בƒנ יƒילƒב¿ׁ ̆ƒּב – everything I see in the world around me was created for me. I will then spend 30 seconds reflecting on the ramifications of this.
