Insight The First Jewish Marriage

Living Moshiach | June 27, 2025

This week’s Torah portion describes the first Jewish marriage – between Yitzchak and Rivkah. Their marriage enabled the continuation of the Jewish People for all generations. Their marriage also symbolizes the ultimate goal of our work in the world – uniting spirituality and physicality, making the world holy, as will reach completion and perfection in the Redemption through Moshiach. Since this is the main purpose of everything, Avraham gave all that he had towards this marriage.
