L’Chaim | June 27, 2025

Lubavitch of Wisconsin, headed by Rabbi Yisroel Shmotkin, has announced the appointment of Rabbi Lev and Talia Voskoboynik as the new shluchim dedicated to serving the Jewish college students of Milwaukee. They will be spearheading the revitalized Chabad on Campus of Milwaukee, an organization committed to enriching the Jewish experience for students across several universities, including the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

The Voskoboyniks are committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment where students can explore and celebrate their Jewish identity. Their plans include regular tabling sessions on campus, weekly learning opportunities, lively Shabbos meals, comforting chicken soup deliveries, and a host of mental health and wellness programs.

Rabbi Lev and Talia’s personal journey as they were growing up, bring a relatable perspective to their interactions with students. Their own experiences allow them to connect on a deeper level with those who may be exploring their Jewish roots or seeking to deepen their connection to their heritage.
