5723-1963, at a meeting with the staff of the yeshivah in 770, the Rebbe pressed to place more focus in the curriculum on the Talmudic writings of the Chabad Rebbes. “I don’t understand why the Code of Jewish Law authored by the Alter Rebbe and the writings of the Tzemach Tzedek are not studied enough,” he remarked.
