Crying With The Shechinah:

The following incredible story is related in Sefer HaDeah V’Hadibur, in the name of the Toldos Aharon Rebbe shlita:

After Yom Kippur one year, the Chozeh was speaking to one of the leading gaonim of the generation, Rav Yaakov Yisroel zy”a, the Magid of Kremnitz and author of Shevet M’Yisroel on Tehillim. The Chozeh told him that he had provided illumination for the world with kedusha for that year and that he had created a great stir in Shomayim.

The cause of all of this was that Rav Yaakov Yisroel’s children and grandchildren would come to him on erev Yom Kippur every year to obtain his blessing. He had a large family and it took a long time to bless everyone. This was a time of tremendous hisorerus for the family.

That year, one daughter was very busy in her home and she and her son arrived at her father’s house very late. Rav Yaakov Yisroel had already left to go to shul to daven. Since he was the Magid of the city, he had to deliver a lecture before Kol Nidrei and he wasn’t able to wait for his daughter to arrive.

When the daughter heard that her father had already left for shul and that she and her son had missed his bracha, she grabbed her son’s hand and began running to catch up with him. They met him at the door of the shul, just as he was about to go in, and she began...
