This week, as well, I will begin with 2 stories. The first may be familiar to many of you; it’s a story that I received this week via “whatsapp”, and has apparently been making the rounds of whatsapp, although I don’t know the original source, credibility etc. The second is a story I heard directly from a baal hamaaseh, as you’ll read:
This story is about a Poylishe chosid, by the name of Shea Eisenberg. He was married, and seeking a brocho for children. At some point he wrote a letter to the Rebbe, and received an answer, via the Rebbe’s Igros Kodesh, to participate in a farbrengen, and ask the other participants to give him a brocho.
This happened this past Tishrei, and on chol hamoied Sukkos he came to Crown Heights, to a farbrengen, and asked the participants to give him a brocho. There is a video from the farbrengen (I will try to attach it here if I can figure out how), in which we can see a few bochurim ceremoniously giving him birkas kohanim with their hands on his head (with him, seemingly, taking the whole experience much more seriously than any of them...)
The end of the story is that he just had a baby girl! Exactly 9 months after following the instructions he received via the Igros, he saw the fruition of the brocho (Mazel tov)!
