Bitachon Weekly | June 25, 2025

When we learn Shaar HaBitachon non-stop, and we are always overflowing with happiness, we have room to be happy with the good fortune of others and we don’t fall into petty jealousy. The only person who is M'chaper on the whole Klal Yisroel on Yom Kippur is Ahron, since the total-happy person is the antidote of all evil.

The more you appreciate the many Maalos that Hashem gave you, and you feel like a: בֵ ן יָ חִ יד only son to Hashem (who was given more than anyone else), the more you thank you Him; and feel indebted, humble, and in awe of your own greatness! Not only are you NOT a Baal Ga’ava after swelling with pride over all your Gevaldige Maalos, you are Davka the true Anav, who is loaded with humble gratitude to Hashem.

Those fake Anavim (humble ones) who play down their own Maalos (since their head is full of Kin'ah of other people’s Maalos; albeit Gedolei Yisroel) have very little gratitude to Hashem, and Halevai they don’t have subtle complaints: “Why didn’t Hashem make me like the Chofetz Chaim, or like my Chashuva chavrusa (“You made me such a nebach, and I should say “Thank you” yet?”)
