Avrohom Avinu Drew People Close Through Brachos

We find that brachos have a great power to draw people close to their Father in Heaven. The Bais Yisroel of Ger zy”a relates that a chasid once told the Kotzker Rebbe zy”a that he feels a big hisorerus from Birchas Hamazon. The Rebbe replied, “Avrohom Avinu was mekarev genuine goyim through brachos (Sotah 10A) because there was no Torah yet at that time. Therefore, he drew the goyim to Hashem by telling them to make brachos.“
