With this we will understand why we are particular to recite ‘Birkas Hamozon’ even when only consuming the volume of an olive. This is because even when being particular about one’s own conduct and going beyond the letter of the law one supersedes any limit or boundary. Nevertheless, since the intention is that the blessing shall be drawn right down below, therefore, there also needs to be a specific measure, which will be the difference between the performance of Mitzvos and refining one’s portion of the world, which can be achieved through eating and such like.
Regarding Mitzvos even though they are enclothed within material objects they are nevertheless still beyond measure and limitation. Whereas eating food specifically needs to be associated with a minimum measurement. Due to this inference in which the B’nei Yisroel are particular with themselves... we prompt Hashem to shine His holy countenance upon Yisroel as the Possuk states: יִשָא ה׳ פָנָיו אֵלֶיךָ “May Hashem raise His countenance toward you” and merit even וְיָשֵם לְךָ שָלוֹם “May Hashem grant you peace”.
As our Sages of blessed memory state that when the blessing of peace is here so are all the other blessings because all the blessings are included in peace even the blessing of the coming of Moshiach Our Righteous one and it shall be as the Possuk states “The B’nei Yisroel were marching out triumphantly” coming “to a good and spacious land”, the holy land, May it be very soon and in actuality!
