Magen Avraham - R' Abraham Abele Gombiner (1635-1682), Poland; Posek whose rulings have had a decisive impact on Ashkenazic practice. His great work, "Magen Avraham" on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chayim was published posthumously, as he did not have the funds to publish it.
