Supporting Lomdei Torah Brings Parnassah

Rav Menachem Mendel of Linsk zy”a (Sefer Likutei Maharam) says that this pasuk hints to the importance of supporting those who study Torah, thereby allowing them to learn with serenity and peace of mind. It can be read as saying that if one provides dwelling places for talmidei chochomim to sit and learn, he will be given “bread that is set aside”, meaning that a good parnassah will be set aside for him and he will have all that he needs.
