LEADER BREAKS INTO SONG

In an unusual turn of events, in the midst of his end-of-life speech, Moshe Rabbeinu taught his nation a song. Beginning with the word "Ha'azinu,” it predicts the future ups and downs of the Jewish people.

"Shiras Ha'azinu, the Song of Ha'azinu, is indeed a most fascinating and holy composition," explained musicologist Mrs. Shira Niggun. “The verses don't rhyme and the tune is a mystery. But it's a beautiful song, in perfect harmony with HaShem and His universe. In my humble, extremely expert opinion, it's a lot more than a song. It's a prophecy of the destiny of the Jewish people. For that reason, I have taken upon myself to learn Ha'azinu by heart, and I highly recommend to my students to do the same."
