Notice that the reason Moshe Rabeinu was Niftar was because he didn’t do more Kiddush Hashem. Not that he transgressed a prohibition, but that he didn’t do more that he could have. The Gemara speaks about the difference between: פוֹש ע יְּ י שׂ ר א לְְּּ ב גוּפ ן a Jewish sinner, which is a person who doesn’t put on Tefilin, and: פוֹש ע יְּאוּמוֹתְּה עוֹל םְְּּ ב גוּפ ן a non-Jewish sinner, which is a Goy who is Nichshal in Arayos.
Notice how the Goy’s major sin is doing something that he isn’t allowed to do; but a Yid’s major sin is not doing something positive. Chazal say that Avraham Avinu liked people who were busy with work. A Yid has to know that his main Tafkid in this world is to do and to grow.
