The song that makes up the Torah portion of Ha'azinu has been recorded in the Torah scroll in a must unusual manner.

“The layout of Shiras Ha'azinu,” reported Shazak typography expert, Abie C. Letterman, “is uniquely set up in two narrow columns with a long blank space running down the center - quite different from the rest of the Chumash, which is written in single columns.”

Scribes all over the camp have signed up for Shiras-Ha'azinu-Scribe-Writing-Courses, ensuring that they have mastered the correct way to transcribe the new song.
