Yom Kippur

Out of love, G-d gave us the day of Yom Kippur to atone for our sins. He also commanded us to eat and drink a lot before, so the fasting won’t harm us.
Yom Kippur is connected to the revelation of the Yechidah, the highest level of the soul – Moshiach, who is the collective Yechidah.
On Yom Kippur the first Beis Hamikdash (Holy Temple) was inaugurated.
Yom Kippur is the internalizing of Rosh Hashanah.
The Giving of the Torah is called a “wedding” between G-d and the Jewish People. Yom Kippur is in this category because the second Tablets were given on Yom Kippur.
