Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of the 9th of June. Needless to say, it is a very good idea for you to learn in a Yeshivah. For, it is well to bear in mind that the learning of the Torah and the observance of the Mitzvoth, in addition to being a must for their own sake, in accordance with G-d's will, are also channels and vessels to receive G-d's blessings.
With regard to the difficulties about which you write, relating to your learning at a Yeshivah, in view of the fact that your parents do not at present agree to it, I trust you can find good friends who would talk to them and convince them how important it would be for your future to learn at a Yeshivah. Your parents will surely agree, especially if they will see how serious you are about it, and also that you are showing a living example of the daily conduct in accordance with the Torah and Mitzvoth, especially in the matter of honoring father and mother, which is expected of a Yeshivah boy.
Hoping to hear good news from you,
With blessing,
