Antisemitism Never Stops

The Sanzer Rov zy"a notes that the words “Arami oved avi" actually mean "an Arami is pursuing my father", in the present tense. This indicates that antisemitism never stops and is still with us today. Thus, we still face the same pursuit from our enemies as we did in the past.

וַנִּצְעַק אֶל ה' אֱלֹקֵי אֲבֹתֵינוּ וַיִּשְׁמַע ה' אֶת קֹלֵנוּ וגו'

And we cried out to Hashem the G-d of our fathers and He heard our voices. (26:7)
