Mincha on Erev Rosh Hashanah

Parsha Halacha | December 10, 2025

The Mincha on Erev Rosh Hashanah is the last prayer of the year. It is important to recite this prayer with concentration. It is written in the sefarim (holy books) that one can fix all his prayers of that year which were recited without concentration (kavana) by reciting them once with concentration anytime that year. Thus, this Mincha is the very last opportunity to do so.

  • If one did not recite Hatarat Nedarim (annulment of vows) after Shacharit, one should recite it after Mincha.
