We daven that in the Zechus of saying Vidui Maaser, we should receive Brachos instead of K'lalos. (Rashi). Why does saying Vidui Maaser deserve this reward? We can explain because in Vidui Maaser we say: ע ש ית יְ כ כֹּ לְְ אֲ שֶ רְ צ וּ ית נ יְְכוְ יד I fulfilled all that You have commanded me, which Rashi explains: ת ְח ְמ ְש ְיְו ְש ְימ ְת ְח ְיְבוְֹ I rejoiced and caused others to rejoice with it. We also mention Bikkurim (Rashi) in which it says: כוְיאְְו ש מ ח ת ְב כ לְה טּוֹב you shall rejoice in all Hashem’s goodness. So both Vidui Maaser and Bikkurim involve Simcha. And by the punishment of the K'lalos it says: ת ח תְאֲ שֶ רְל ֹּאְע ב ד ת ְאֶ תְה'ְאֱ לֹקֶ יךְב ש מ ח הְְ תבאְ כחְ מז this comes for not serving Hashem B’simcha. So for bringing Bikkurim and saying Vidui Maaser with Simcha, we can ask Hashem to give us Brachos.
