The תוכחה (rebuke) of Parshas Bechukosai is connected to the revelations of Shavuos, which are those of Tishrei. The revelations which are brought are higher and demand greater preparation. The same concept applies to our current situation, regarding the idea that everything Hashem does is for the good (כל דעביד רחמנא לטב עביד).
Although it is not always apparent, and sometimes requires clarification, we will understand the difference between the examples brought in the stories of the Gemara. The stories illustrate how even when things seem negative, they are ultimately for the good.
After the sin of the Golden Calf (חטא העגל), the Jewish people were doubly stricken, but they also received double comfort. Everything is for the good, and there are two different expressions in the Gemara: כל דעביד רחמנא לטב עביד (all that Hashem does is for the good) and גם זו לטובה (this too is for the good). Both are clear, but they represent different levels of understanding and acceptance of Hashem's will.
