Three Knots

Living Moshiach | December 31, 2025

G-d, the Torah and the Jewish People are connected by three “knots”. Three things can be attached with just two knots. Indeed, the usual order is that the Jewish People connect to the Torah, which is connected to G-d. But there is a third “knot” by which the Jewish People, in Essence, are connected to G-d above the Torah.

Even if a Jew, through no fault of his own, did not get a Jewish education, he is still a Jew and is connected to G-d. This essential connection draws him to the Torah and he will ultimately come to observe it.

Even if a soul has been reincarnated a number of times, each host body will be resurrected. For example, it is often stated that the soul of R’ Shimon bar Yochai was a spark of the soul of Moshe Rabbeinu, and Eliyahu HaNavi bore the same soul as did Pinchas, yet all agree that all of these persons will be resurrected.
