The Singer’s Sacred Mission

Rebbe Responsa | March 06, 2026

By the Grace of G-d

16th of Cheshvan, 5735
Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. and Mrs. Yehoshua Pinchas haKohen and Chashe Chiene Peerce
370 Beechmont Drive
New Rochelle, N.Y.

Greeting and Blessing:
I received the telephone message about Mr. Peerce’s forthcoming medical treatment. May G-d grant that it should be entirely successful, and that you should be able to resume very soon your activities of bringing joy and inspiration into Jewish hearts through the special gift which G-d has bestowed on you.

Particularly – as I had occasion to mention it when we met – bringing joy and inspiration to the Yiddishkeit that is within every Jewish heart, although the vital signs of this Yiddishkeit may be more evident or less, as the case may be; but the Pintele Yid is always there. Great is your Zechus in being instrumental of rousing it and bringing it forth from the hidden recesses of the heart, so that it should vitalize and permeate the whole being...

May G-d grant you both a happy, fruitful long life, filled with activities and achievements as above, and with much true Yiddish Nachas from all your offspring.
With personal regards and with blessing,
M. Schneerson
