There Is No Real Enjoyment Without Following the Rules

Similarly, we have Yitzchok Avinu whose very name means: צְַּחוק a joke. And he certainly had a good time, like it says: ַֹּו יִק חַַּּ אֶתַּרִ בְקָּהַּו תְ הִיַּלוַּלְאִשָּהַּו יֶאֱהָּבֶהַַָּּּו יִנָּחֵּםַּיִצְחָּקַּא חֲרֵּיַַּּ אִמוַַּּחייַּכדַּסז he married Rivka and he loved her, and then he was consoled for the loss of his mother; he has love and goodness all over his life. And it says that he was: מְצ חֵּקַּאֵּתַַּּ רִ בְקָּהַּאִשְתוַַּּתולדותַּכוַּח joking with his wife, Rivka; and also: מ טְע מִיםַּ לְאָּבִיךַָּ כ אֲשֶרַּ אָּהֵּבַַּּשםַּ כזַּ טַּ delicious food according to his taste. (Of course, there are deeper meanings in the “fun” that Yitzchok had.) So Yishmael came along and tried to copy Yitzchok (see S'fas Emes) and he was "מְצ חֵּק" in a wicked way.

כִיַּאִישַּבִבְנוַּוּבְאָּחִיוַּוְלָּתֵּתַּעֲלֵּיכֶםַּה יוםַּב ר כ הֵַַּּ תשאַּלבַּכט The willingness of the Levi'im to kill even their own sons and brothers gave upon them a special Bracha. It’s very interesting that killing the closest and dearest friends and relatives brings a Bracha. Similarly, we have by Pinchos who was told by Hashem right after: ו יִק חַּרֹמ חַּבְיָּדוַַּּכהַּז he took a spear in his hand and killed 2 people: הִנְנִיַּנֹתֵּןַּלוַּאֶתַּבְרִ יתִיַּשָּלוםַּכהַּיב I hereby give him My Bris Shalom. When justice is given, then it’s Bracha and Shalom! And when a person has to be strict because of Bittul Torah or Kedusha issues, or be: מ ַּרְַּחִַּיק distance Bnei Eisav and Bnei Yishmael didn’t accept the Torah because it had rules.
