In Krakow, there was a gadol named R' Asher who passed away in the year 1642. He authored a sefer in kabbala called Eimek Habracha. Interestingly, the Rema cites the Eimek Habracha in his own sefer, Toras Ha’olah.

What became of the sefer Eimek Habracha? R' Asher’s grandson, the Maharam of Lublin, writes,

“Because of its great sanctity, it was not brought to the printing press, so that unworthy individuals would not come to use it.”
