The Enemy Becomes Like a Brother:

Rabenu Bechaya asks why this verse refers to the donkey of "your brother", whereas in Parshas Mishpatim (Shemos 23:5), where the same mitzvah is described, it makes mention of the donkey of "your enemy." He answers that this teaches us that if one helps another person, even if that person is his enemy, he will come to look at him as "his brother", as helping someone else eradicates the hate.
