We can add that regarding the revelation of the thirteen attributes of mercy themselves, there is a big variation between the revelation of the thirteen attributes of mercy of the month of Elul compared with the revelation of the thirteen attributes of mercy of Yom Kippur. One of the differences is that the revelation of the thirteen attributes of mercy of Yom Kippur is primarily within the scope of דוֹדִּי לִּי “my beloved is to me” which comes as a result of one’s own efforts in his own Avodah of אֲנִּי לְדוֹדִּי “I am to my beloved”.
Whereas the revelation of the thirteen attributes of mercy of the month of Elul is about דוֹדִּי לִּי “my beloved is to me” which comes to inspire one to exert an effort in his own Avodah of אֲנִּי לְדוֹדִּי “I am to my beloved”.
This is the state of Isarussa Dil’Eilah that comes from above to arouse the Isarussa Dil’Tatoh which is similar to the aspect of Torah that is from above to below like bread from heaven (As mentioned earlier). What this means is that the revelation of the thirteen attributes of mercy of the month of Elul which are associated with prayer are in a manner that is also associated with Torah. As a result, of which the prayer is on a higher level (As mentioned earlier in section Gimel).
