> 5714 – 1954, the Rebbe held a farbrengen in honor of several yeshivah students who were getting married that week, as well as to mark the wedding anniversary of the Previous Rebbe. During the gathering, the Rebbe shared Torah insights about marriage and establishing a Jewish home. He also delivered a chasidic discourse based on the one the Previous Rebbe had said at the Rebbe’s own wedding in 1929, with his own additional explanations. (That discourse, as taught by the Rebbe, later became the standard text recited by grooms at Chabad weddings.) The Rebbe concluded the farbrengen by giving his blessings for the weddings scheduled that week.
