The Lesson of Judging Favorably

The Lesson:

Although Dasan and Aviram spoke with audacity toward Moshe, nevertheless, Moshe judged them favorably and said that they were merely “spoiled,” but they were not sinners. This demonstrates to us the extent to which one should seek to judge his fellow favorably.
