The Staff that Blossomed

במדבר יז ,כג: וַיְהִי מִמָחֳרָת וַיָבֹא מֹשֶה אֶל-אֹהֶל הָעֵּדוּת וְהִנֵּּה פָרַח מַטֵּה-אַהֲרֹן לְבֵּית לֵּוִי וַיֹצֵּא פֶרַח וַיָצֵּץ צִיץ וַיִגְמֹל שְקֵּדִים :

Baal HaTurim points out that the three stages of "porach" (blossomed), " ... Tzitz" (budded) and " ... Sh'keidim" (grew almonds) has the same Gematria (932) as Korach, Yeravam and Uziyah ben Amaziah, the three people who usurped the Kehunah. Plus, the Gematria of "shekeidim" is equivalent (454) to that of 'Chashmonaim', who were descendants of Aharon, and in whose hands the Kehunah was established.
