Letter to fiance Schloarship arrangement Consult with experts and friends about buying a house Lag Bomer activities

Rebbe Responsa | June 27, 2025

By the Grace of G-d
Lag B'Omer, 5724
Brooklyn, N. Y.

Mr. ....
England
Greeting and Blessing:

I am in receipt of your letters. Enclosed you will find a copy of my letter to your fiancee, which is of course intended also for your consideration.

With regard to the question of the scholarship, I trust that you have already received Rabbi Hodakov's reply. At any rate, my promise that I wrote to you some time ago still stands, of course.

With reference to the question of buying a house, it would be advisable to inquire of people who know something about property, whether in their opinion there is any basis to think that the forthcoming elections might affect property values, and therefore whether or not it is advisable to wait till after the elections. In a case like this one may well apply the principle "Help comes through abundance of counsel". I hope to hear good news from you.

Inasmuch as this letter is written on Lag B'Omer, I want to express my hope that you are no doubt participating in the activities of the Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, especially the activities which have been arranged in connection with Lag B'Omer.

With blessing
