My family decided to get together one evening on Chol Hamoed Succos. Since I did not know if there would be a minyan for Mincha as at that time I would be on the way to the gathering, I decided to daven at the first minyan at 1:15 and then travel calmly. However, as I was about to leave the house my wife told me to wash my hands for a meal as the food was ready. I immediately thought my wife’s feelings would be hurt if I told her that I wanted to go daven so I washed my hands and I did not say a word. As we finished the meal, my neighbor called me and asked if I could help him make a minyan so that he could daven Mincha as he had to travel the rest of the day and would not be able to daven Mincha! I saw that if a person does the right thing, Hashem takes care of his needs.
