Decreed and Fulfilled

Sefarim Hakedoshim explain: “Lo yachel devaro, k’kol hayotzi m’piv ya’aseh.” One should not make his words “chulin”, mundane. If one keeps his words holy by not speaking any untruths or improper words, whatever he says will be fulfilled by Hashem because when a tzadik decrees something in this world, Hashem fulfills it Above. One attains this power through guarding his speech.
