Encountering G-d

Havineini | December 10, 2025

When this Yid encountered a challenge, he said with simplicity and plainness, “I will go to discuss the matter with the Ribbono shel Olam, and I will see what He answers me.” If a friend would suggest that he engage in more hishtadlus, or blame this one or that one, he would look at him as though he were insane! “Why would you speak this way?! Did you have a bad night?! Come! Let’s go to the Beis HaMikdash and speak with the Ribbono shel Olam. He will surely resolve everything.”

In the Beis HaMikdash, Jewish souls were cleansed and purified. The entire person—his 248 limbs and 365 sinews—burned naturally with Yiddishkeit, and every challenge and difficulty were merely vehicles for more kirvas Elokim, ways to connect with and encounter the Ribbono shel Olam.
