The Metzora and the Mashiach

About the Mashiach it says, “Behold, my servant shall prosper, be exalted, and raised, and elevated, very much” (יַשְׂכִּיל עַבְדִּי יָרוּם וְנִשָּׂא וְגָבַהּ מְאֹד). This verse depicts five ascents of the Mashiach, who is the all-inclusive singular-one (the yechidah) of all the souls of the Jewish people. There are those who connect this verse with the five stages of Mashiach’s coming described by Maimonides.

Now, this verse specifically connects the Mashiach to the famous statement that he is designated as “the metzora of the House of Rebbe”
