When One Sees How Can You Not Say

Lebin mit Moshiach | June 27, 2025

The Rebbe advised and directed many people in all matters of day to day issues, including problems of earning livelihood, and health issues and medical decisions.

Often the Rebbe’s advice was inconsistent with medical experts and, quite often, the exact opposite of their opinion. However, the Rebbe’s advice always prevailed, and many physicians learned that his opinion was always precise and correct.

One journalist was quite bothered by this; how can someone simply advise a stranger to go against medical experts, when he often doesn’t even know anything about the person who is seeking the advise?

He came to the Rebbe and asked his question: How can he advise people, in vital life threatening situations, against medical knowledge?! Moreover, often to people whom he never met or saw?!

The Rebbe responded - the question is: “When one “sees” - how can you NOT SAY”?
