Important Announcement TorahApp

Torah Musings | December 10, 2025

In the past, we have discussed the importance of an app that accesses only traditional Torah texts. A new free app is now available that has extremely useful features along with a full Torah library curated (under my guidance) from the Sefaria library.

I encourage you to take a look at TorahApp which combines both audio and text for a full learning-while-commuting experience. It is easily customizable for English and/or Hebrew and interconnects texts and commentaries so you have all the resources at your fingertips. It allows you to flow one audio into the next so you can binge-listen to Daf Yomi or divrei Torah.

TorahApp allows for multiple tabs so you go back and forth across multiple texts at the same time.

The many features of TorahApp include:

Texts/Sefarim

  • Thousands of sefarim (Chumash/Parsha, Nach/Tanach, Halacha, Shulchan Aruch, Gemara, Daf Yomi, Meforshim, Mishnah, Rambam, Siddur, Midrash, Chasidut, Musar, etc, etc.)
  • English translations
  • Smart siddur (expanding/collapsing parts davening based on the calendar)
  • Commentaries, links, and in-line commentaries; and opening related texts
  • Multiple tabs each saving your spot
  • Daily learning calendars (Daf Yomi, Tanach Yomi, Shnayim Mikra, etc.)
  • Tikkun mode for practicing leining (including audio leining)
  • Offline texts for learning on your commute, airplane, beis midrash, etc.

Shiurim

  • 500k+ audio, video shiurim
  • Shiurim from YUTorah & OUTorah
  • Shiurim can be browsed as standalone series or as related to opened sefarim
  • Podcast-like series enabling continual listening wherever you are
  • Learn on your commute with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Saves your custom speed for each series
  • Offline for listening on the subway

Check out the app’s Settings section to see what you can customize.

TorahApp is FREE on Apple, Android & web! More features rolling out all the time...

Feel free to send feature requests or comments to [email protected]. If you have any questions about the texts and translations, feel free to reach out to me directly [email protected].
