Sefer HaIkkarim R Yosef Albo

Sefer HaIkkarim - R Yosef Albo, 14-15th century Spanish rabbi and philosopher, disciple of R' Hasdai Crescas. One of the participants in the religious disputation in Tortosa, where he successfully defended the Talmud against the attacks of the apostate Joshua HaLurki. He was also proficient in medicine and other sciences. Sefer HaIkkarim is an important religious-philosophical work that elaborates on aspects of Jewish faith and its three main roots: G-d's existence, Divine origin of Torah, and Divine reward and punishment.
